Faith
I rely on my faith each day
To walk this pernicious way
And "what a journey, " I must say
There's been valleys and some hills
To make the journey less a thrill
But I am determined still.
Battling both day and night
With nary a clear end in sight,
Should I relinquish such a fight?
No.I must by the firmest will
With every breath keep fighting still
And having faith in God until.

For someone who is more agnostic then a believer this taps in slightly to my desire to want to believe, some make faith look dangerous but you make it look innocent and pure. We all need guidance and a voice you make it seem easy. Thank you for sharing

This is a very well written poem. sometimes everything seems to go against us but the faith we have helps us to count the remaining blessings and to go on and have more faith. I love the message within, very inspiring.
