Fewer Words Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Fewer Words

Rating: 5.0

Words show more obsession
they refuse to leave

Waves come one after the other
thud along the shore
leave debris to come back
suck what they brought before

Wet or not
the sandy shores remain
unmindful unmoved

I should learn lessons one or two-
apart from sucking
the last lucky drops
speak less and drink more
be a shore and a sea
on every word, every wave
less words more action behaves

A thoughtful action always needs the manure of silence..the sea metaphor is aptly used...kudos Kesav
