Finding Passion - For Ralph Waldo Emerson Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Finding Passion - For Ralph Waldo Emerson

Rating: 5.0

Brave soul that I am
So adventure bound
Course map in my hand
Stars as my compass
I follow new path
Critics don't hinder
Skeptics I laugh at
I have found passion

Excellent poem, dear Richard, first your own need is the most important, then comes the turn of the other's expectations. Thank you for sharing,5 Stars Top Score!

Dillip, you've guided me on that path. And I owe you a world of gratitude!

I like your poem. But " I follow new path" sounds awkward to me. You may want to consider " I follow new paths" or " I follow a new path" .

With all due respect, Michael I truly appreciate you liking my poem. And sometimes, it's just truly respectful to leave the words just as they were written.

So true, one should write first to fulfill an inner need, and not necessarily to meet the expectations of others. Really good poem.
