Brave soul that I am
So adventure bound
Course map in my hand
Stars as my compass
I follow new path
Critics don't hinder
Skeptics I laugh at
I have found passion

I like your poem. But " I follow new path" sounds awkward to me. You may want to consider " I follow new paths" or " I follow a new path" .
