Flowers Stand Strong In The Rain - Poem by Ete Amour

flowers standing,
strong in the rain
living gold, living vain
do all these people have a clue
where the rain goes
when it ends?
but i will tell, {listen now};
the rain disapears,
when the flowers wilt
and as the flowers wilt
and dry, {softly dying, softly flying}
the gold remains,
wet with the rain
so kiss the flowers,
kiss them goodbye
and sing them to sleep
as they rest with the flies
