For A Vital Cause
Very often,
I feel very sad
Seeing,
Such injustice
Violence, lies!
That are causing
Innocents
To die!
And assassinating
A good Country
With such good
Potential,
So we cry!
It's an uphill battle
But we try,
Not to let them steal
Our dignity and lives,
Our Country's nobility
And pride,
I look to poetry as guide
And thank dear fellow poets
At my side,
That have consoled me
Never let me down,
God bless, you all
No matter where you live
Or where you're from
We are brothers, sisters
In this fight!
Letting go, means
The last bastion
Of Democracy,
Will be slain!
And sadly die,
Never to awaken
To the light
Of a new dawn.
