For Sylvia, Kindest, Sweetest Poetess
Her name is Sylvia,
She holds out her hand,
And makes us feel so grand
I'm not impressed
By false largesse,
But Silvia's words
Are, the sincerest
I've ever known,
She makes me feel
So humble,
With the things
She says,
She really thinks,
My poetry swings
When, it must be
Only, the wind,
That sings.
So dearest Silvia
Please hear
This, my sincere
Bequest,
"I now declare
That my life you have
Beautifully enriched
And Blessed! "
With all the gratitude I am able to give for all the precious kindness
and richness she has given me and that I so appreciate.
