From The Sea and The Light house. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

From The Sea and The Light house.

Rating: 5.0

Peaks and valleys,
twists and turns,
are part and parcel
of all those born.
Distress and happiness
surface and plunge,
are castles of sand
like seasons change.
They are the able and feeble tides
on the waters of seas,
floating objects dance
according to their rhythm.
The waves strike and break
at the foot of light house.
But the sea is steadfast,
the light house holds on,
endure them without turbulence.
It stands on a solid
and rocky foundation.
Performs its duty of
mariner's and waves illumination.

Let us not get disturbed
by those mourns and happiness.
Treat them with equanimity
and steadfastly progress.
Wear life with humility
when it is jewel,
Withstand with determination
when it is cruel.
