Godhuli Poem by Denis Mair

Godhuli

Rating: 5.0

Today I opened my mailbox and found the journal GODHULI;
It is gratifying to hold this journal in my hands.
My words made a journey and were treated as an honored guest;
They have sung their way back to me, much transformed
But retaining their original intent...
In these pages I am in company with my fellow wayfarers;
I am borne aloft by sympathy;
I seem to hear wind whistling past my ears;
I think of a place where I was allowed to rest,
Where I found an exchange of songs instead of emptiness.
