Granny's Garden Poem by Walterrean Salley

Granny's Garden

Rating: 5.0

In my Granny's garden
Was all kinds of green:
Okra, peas, corn
And the butter bean.

Of course, watermelon,
And cucumber too.
And the sweet potato—
All a wholesome view.

And such delicious meals
Those veggies did yield,
From Granny's little garden,
By her house, in the field.

it looks like a light juvenile poem...the character of granny can be sketched easily...
