Has Bri Gone Bye-Bye?

Rating: 4.6

Much more than a week
has now gone by
since I heard a word
from my friend Bri.

Has he gone on a cruise?
Was he hit by a train?
Oh, when will we hear
from our Bri again?

He was silent before,
a time or two,
and I thought for sure
his days were through.

Please make an appearance,
Bri, we can't rest.
We await further word
and hope for the best.

A very well crafted and executed poem, Kim as always. Wonderful and spontaneous presentation with nice rhyme and rhythm.

I noticed a typo and have fixed it, but it may take a few days for the change to show up.

With friend like you he won't stay away too long. He is life of poetry or vice versa.

Belle, rest in pieces sounds good to me! ! ! ! So be it! ! ! And to all who read this, PLEASE read at least one of her poems TODAY, even if you can't think of anything good to say about it. Ditto for Kim's poems. : )
