He Wanted To Tell Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

He Wanted To Tell

Rating: 5.0

When I saw him,
He was on the
Verge of death,
He wanted
To tell me many things,
But he could say nothing,
Tears came in his vacant eyes,
Gradually he succumbed,
I stared at his lifeless body
For a long time
With my grievous soul,
Then I realised only one thing...
The utter futility of life.

Toching poem. People with hearts will at least wet their eyes before the dead body of their dear ones and will stop the tears from falling realising the meaninglessness of life...10
