तीर चलाओ इन्दर जी (Hindi)
उमड़ रहे हैं बादल फिर फिर तीर चलाओ इन्दर जी.
लगी टकटकी नील गगन पर नीर बहाओ इन्दर जी
.
तनमन को झुलसाने वाली तपन चितायें और न दो
जन जन को सुलगाने वाली गरम हवायें और न दो
रहम करो जी रहम करो गलती हुयी तो माफ़ करो
नतमस्तक हम सारे हैं कर्मों की सजायें और न दो
तनिक हमारा हाल देख कर दया दिखाओ इन्दर जी
लगी टकटकी नील गगन पर नीर बहाओ इन्दर जी
Indra or Varuna, Hindu God of rains, nicely requested to use his Indradhanush so that it may rain and the humans may get rid of heat strokes. A beautiful poem..................................10
