Now I think
If I chose
A few thorns
Or a rose
Rereading this once again, I find myself seeing another possibility. Thinking and choosing are at odds (It's all in the readings of the first two lines) . One provides some security or assurance. Making a choice will yield an extreme...the rose, or a handful of thorns. Magnificent work, Ali...
How often we think we have chosen right and end up with a thorn in our fingers- - but then again we choose the rose often enough to keep us going! You used Very few words to gain a Very large impact. Well thought out and well-done
At times we wonder if our choice in life has been right or wrong! This confusion is given a metaphoric representation!
Superbly written, Ali. This work reminds me....perhaps it is wise to take the road less traveled. A 10.
Interesting. At some point in life, we do wonder if our decisions n choices were right or wrong. A succinct gem.

Instead of delicate petals, you chose thorns... If you mistakenly took them, its okay... For sure u may bleed but scar will heal and you will learn something precious. If you pick the thorns intentionally maybe it is a good choice to learn of way it guarding roses... Whatever decision u taking, lead them to the best reasons and careful of way to handle it... In life, in every choice, To hurt is a must but to end should be beautiful
