Outside,
The wind breathes through me
As though it was alive
And I was the element
Cutting through the edges
Of time and stillness
With the angles of my mind...
A hollow shell washed out
From the Sea
Onto the shore of life
With the echoes of forever
Swirling inside...
I am the whirlwind
Storming through eternity,
Impressing my passing journey
Into the Earth's tranquility...

Great write Rome! I love the angles of my mind and echoes of forever lines brilliant! One little thing, formally, the last stanza I am a whirlwind should it perhaps be the whirlwind because the poem has a great specificity to I and using an indefinite article didn't quite seem to fit this unique beautifully destructive image All the best, man
I am a whirlwind Storming through eternity, Impressing my passing journey Into the Earth's tranquility... this poem is itself a whirlwind storming through the eternity. with best regards
Yes, this is the sound of the ocean/wind inside a shell: the sound of eternity. It is a haunting allusion you make that transports one to those turbulent places only to be nestled back in the safety of the earth mother. Well done Romeo.
