I Desire Poem by MAHTAB BANGALEE

পূর্ণিমার দুধেল স্নানে গুরুগম্ভীর ধ্যানে
দেখেছি তোমায় মহাদেব শিবের ভক্তিতে

শুনছিনা আমি এ পাহাড়ের কান্না
দেখছি শুধু সে ঝরে পড়া ঝর্ণা

অসংখ্য রঙের ফুলের পাঁপড়িগুলোর
জানিনা কোন রঙের খুশবো কোনটি

তোমার হাসি তোমার কান্না তোমার প্রার্থনা
জানি না কোনটিতে মজেছি আমি তোমার হয়ে

ভজন সাধনের অশ্রুতে আর ভোগের উল্লাসে
আমি তোমাকেই চাই এ জীবন রাঙ্গাতে

In the full-moon milky bath, in stern meditation
I've seen you in the devotion of Mahadev Shiva

I do not hear the cry of the mountain
I see only that falling fountain

Flower petals of innumerable colors
I don't know which scent is for which color

Your smile, your tears, your prayers
I don't know which one I'm in for

In the tears of chanting and in the blissful enjoyment
I desire you only to make this life colorful
