I Still Believe Poem by Meggie Gultiano

I Still Believe

Rating: 3.8

I still believe
That the rain will not stop
Until i have found you
Waiting to be kissed
And content
In my warm embrace

Do not be afraid
To lose me again
My love has already pierced
The thickest wall of your heart
There will be no more broken vows
But promises
To love and to cherish

Let us not worry then for tomorrow
We will live from day to day
We will think only for the best
We will work only what is best
For i still believe
God will do the rest

Note: My advance Valentine tribute to all.
thanks for the nice and lovely comment

I think that Mr. Barack Obama, should have called you up & asked if you would be his Secretary or Minister of Foreign Affaire...as your persona * its' altruistic slant....is something he could sorely use over the next 4 years....And, he could save money from the Cabinet Salary budget, by hiring you as his WhiteHouse Literary Aide (he allegedly worships poetry) ....Solid as rock, on this one Ms. M! The middle verse in this is one of the finest middle verses that I have ever read. This is a class A poem. A true poem, for the reader can detect and follow a flow in the writing. GW62
