I'd buy a wife or three or four;
so far I've used just love and luck.
The result: one of us marches out the door;
to me, that result ……sure does suck! !
Of course I'd give LOTS to social orgs;
one favorite is Planned Parenthood.
I'd NOT fund development of cyborgs,
giving only to what I think is good.
I'd pay everyone to neither fight nor steal,
and to follow the childhood 'Golden Rule'.
Those resisting me I might kill (for real) :
I think I'm kind, but …….I'm no fool!
I'd try to rid the world of crime;
I'd see that all had enough to eat.
I'd try to buy myself more quality time,
and watch movies from a theater seat.

My God Bri, we truly are related! Offspring of the same monkey some might say if one goes back far enough! And though your poem can't compare to my 'The God Machine' which takes the content of your poem here to an entirely new level, (because God is my co-pilot) , there must be miscreants somewhere who will actually enjoy your poem more. Stop TIVOing my dreams though will you! HA!
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
hahaaha....Of course money never grow on trees! I like the title and the content of the poem as a whole. This is a poem that, I think, has a very frank and appealing theme. Of course, what you would have done if you had the means isn't bad at all......To combat crimes and make sure, people like me have food to eat, is a pretty idea. Nice poem Bri......Well done!
