Dr. Geeta is no more
since 12 April 2025
Very, very sad news
Radhika asked me to inform Poem Hunter friends
Radhika is Dr. Geeta's only daughter
Her husband survives her
May Dr. Geeta Rest in Peace, Amen

Our deepest sympathy and prayers for the family of Dr. Geeta. She is deeply loved and missed.
Dr. Geeta was a gem of a person, a prolific and wonderful Poetess who inspires everyone on this site. She was indeed a blessing on Poem Hunter. What a great loss. May our dearest, Dr. Geeta Radhakrishna Menon Rest in Peace.

Although I never interacted with Mrs. Radakrishna I am sure she was a very wonderful woman. May she rest in peace and may God bless her memory.
