In Pleasant Dreams Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

In Pleasant Dreams

Rating: 5.0

A constant flow of tears,
Fell silently through the night.
I thought back to those happy days,
Those memories held so tight.
Even though you're far away,
Longing to see you once more,
I feel you're waiting somewhere,
Right there on heavens door.
Your pleasant smile is shining,
Just like it did back then,
Your comforting arms are reaching out,
To hold me once again.
I wipe away the tears once more,
Then gently slip away,
Into pleasant dreams i go,
hoping to see you one day.
