In Your Shade - Poem by Vikram G. Aarella

I have suffered a lot in life
I am exhausted and tired,
Like the sun, before I fade
Take me into your shade.

In this world of crime and sin
I am standing lonely and disturbed,
No way out, of this plot self made
Please, shelter me in your shade.

I cannot last like this for long
There is no strength left in me,
Cruel game my fate has played
Only you can give me some shade.

Have strength and you'll be shaded through the heat!
