Inner Calmness
If you are wandering and
Wondering in search of
Calmness you need,
Then stop wandering!
You awaken self and feel,
Calmness is within you,
You cannot find it outside,
Neither from market
Nor from other people,
You cannot get it by paying,
Money, name, fame and power
All these things do not give
These do not give at all,
You can find calmness within.
Within you, calmness blooms,
Just you keep trust on God
And you stabilize mind and
You feel unlimited happiness,
Love of Divine Power enters,
This gives you inner peace,
Then you feel inner calmness.
You stop blaming others,
If you are not getting peace
Then this is your own disturbance,
You have violated your own mind
By falling in trap of vices,
Just control your mind
And destroy your jealousy,
Then you feel your inner core,
Your conscience will tell you truth,
Then you can feel inner calmness!

Calmness is something that we have to work on continuously. It can not be taken for granted. This inner journey is full of thorns but it is worth every and pinch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem.
Calmness is not something that can be got from outside, but it stays within. One who is close to God and one whose heart is free of jealousy, hatred, pride and selfishness will definitely feel calmness! A great truth beautifully presented!
