Irony. Poem by Deepti Agarwal

Irony.

Rating: 5.0

Cries of dark grey, heavy, clouds
Shed their weight on me
Drenched me completely
With their tears
Making me fertile.
Their tears make others happy
Dance and sing with rejoice
Oh! God did you ever think
On the tears of one
Will dance everyone.?

very thoughtful and philosophical. human spirit is capable of finding pleasure in pain also. as Mark has written finding beauty in the ugliness of life. last two lines are amazing. Deepti 10 for this one

Oh! this is ecstatic! the joy of pain - tears make me fertile; make others happy; on the tears of one, will dance everywhere. this is like turning the ordinary prose of life into heroic verse - that there is great beauty in sorrow; that life is heroic because we suffer so much, bear so much, and still dance. I thrive on paradox -finding beauty in the ugliness of life. Thanks Deepti scored this 10.

You lines highlight a paradox.. the crying of clouds generates joy, Our tears make us fervent towards living…. Adversity nurses the virtue in man…. Nicely penned Abha
