Just To Hold Your Hand Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Just To Hold Your Hand

Rating: 5.0

The soft grassy meadows,
The hills oh so green,
The trees cast out shadows,
It's so peaceful, serene
The birds singing pleasantly,
In the warm afternoon sun,
This place is so tranquil,
Right here we are one,
For i sense you're beside me,
In each step I take,
To help me to guide me,
Each mistake that I make,
For we shared many hours,
Walking this land,
I long for the past,
Just to hold your hand.

Memories are not just stored in brain now I think it also involves heart, such a wonderful poem.

Love and beauty together make a perfect combination. The memories of the lost moments become beautiful poetry. The longing for what's gone is painful but words can make it soothing.

Holding hands in the meadows, in the hills and beside the trees. Lovely places are even more lovely when they are shared.

I sometimes feel I'm still walking with Clara my yellow Labrador. Her tennis ball is still in the back of the car. Lovely poem Jayne.
