Kavita 22 - When You Are Not With Me

Rating: 5.0

When you are not with me, nothing makes me feel good
No face worth noticing, and I feel nothing is real
What I have been telling you, you may not like at all
When you are not with me, nothing makes me feel good.

This is a translation of the poem Tumhare Bin by KAVITA SINGH

When you are not with me, nothing makes me feel good No face worth noticing, and I feel nothing is real - - - - - - - - The feeling of sweet pain experienced when one's beloved is not around is so nicely penned through a few lines.Though it is a translation from Hindi, it is as creative as the original. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the translation of this poem by Kavita Singh- you are so very kind to share these gems in English... I am particularly enamored by the way the poet used the first line as the last line too- -When you are not with me, nothing makes me feel good. Thank you, dear friend!

Hi Susan, As I have written often, Kavita is a very talented poet. It is the beauty of her original that has made this one lovable to you. Thank you Susan. I shall communicate your appreciation to Kavita. And your words, you know Susan, mean a lot to me. Obliged.
