Buzzing with festivities,
Brimming with flowers,
Bouncing with joy,
Bountiful display of colours!
It's Onam!
Ten days long festival!
To venerate Gods and nature,
To celebrate life and beauty!
Flowers everywhere,
Flowers dancing with joy,
Flowers in every house,
Flowers in elegant floral designs - Pookalam!
Keralites welcome King Mahabali
With style and grandeur,
With profusion of spectacular flowers,
And a grand feast in banana leaf!
While you live, live with happiness,
With generosity and plentitude,
Together with all creations of nature,
Together with love and kindness.
