Life Not Lived. Poem by Sandra Feldman

Life Not Lived.

Rating: 5.0

Going down the path
Of non-existence
Solitude,
A very narrow
Choking wrath,
Life becomes
Like non-existent,
When deprived
Of love,
It becomes a most
Senseless
And painful
Task.

The beauty of the poem lies in the use of word 'Love' and in how you chose to use it giving enough room for interpretation. A life in which you seek for love from everyone could be more painful. Self-loving is therefore vital.

Nice poem! Life without love is painful. Sandra, you intentionally left us in vagueness using 'Love'. What type of love are you referring to? family love, friendly love, partner, societal?

Life and love must exist together otherwise one could never feel and enjoy the wonders of existence. A powerful and heartfelt poem. So very true.
