Limerick: Blue Jays

Rating: 4.5

Old Wes's Blue Jays are flying high;
Toronto fans can identify.
The Rangers met their fate;
They are out in three straight.
Now we think the limit is the sky.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
written 10 October 2016

Dedicated to the Limerick Master, Wes Vogler, who told me that I should write more limericks.

Wes is a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. His Blue Jays have defeated the Texas Rangers in three straight games, and now move on to the American League Championship series against the Cleveland Indians. The Indians also eliminated the Boston Red Sox in three straight games.

Thanks for the verse lad. Going to be a heck of a good time for at least four games starting Friday at Cleveland,
