Love Prayers
No unusual day to say I love you
And there was no day like yesterday
Watching the crows sitting on a wire
Cawing a curse
But you weren't afraid of them
You don't believe in magical things like religion
Especially the voodoo of Catholicism
You would laugh each time I pray
However, you don't question me on
When the things I prayed for comes true
You try to find logic in it
One of these days, you'll need a prayer or two
When I stop saying I love you
A very emotionally charged poem. Movingly accentuated. Loved the way the emotions of the poet's heart is progressively developed into the culmination in the last stanza. Full score and onto myfav
Part 2. The concluding lines " One of these days, /you'll need a prayer or two /When I stop saying I love you". The line reads "when I stop saying I love you ". Not "when I stop loving you ".
Part 3. This clearly indicates how true her love is. She can not but love him. She can not think of cease to
Part 4. She can not think of ceasing to love him. If his indifferent attitude to her emotions continue, at some point, she may have to "stop saying I love you". But this definitely does not mean that she could cease to love him.
I enjoyed this poem. It not only read well but the message was great and the ending line gave it a perfect finish,
