Loved You - Poem by Brandon Adcock

My broken heart and powdered soul
On the sole of your shoe
I told you I loved you
But couldn’t convince you to stay
So as you walk away tread lightly
Because it’s likely
Just like me
You have feelings and a
Heart to be broken
And even words spoken
Can bring down
A whole world
With one string pulled
The whole tapestry unfurls
So as you walk away
Know
That
I love you.
