Lovely Cap (Limerick - 10)

Rating: 5.0

Tom once bought a lovely cap
Placed it on head went to tap
In tap found no water
Wind beheaded cap better
To get it back he got a slap.

Lap, nap, snap, map, swap! With the muse of life. Nice piece of work.

One striking feature of your poems I think is childlike innocence. This limerick has that freshness. Lovely.
