Maa(Mother)
Maa!
For how long
Will you be worshipped as a stone idol?
See, how your eternal stream of love
Your feelings and emotions
Are fossilized
without getting an outlet to come!
You are standing as a Devi (Goddess)
Wearing red Sindoor and red bangles
Your looks are stunned and stoned
Tell Mother,
for killing which demon
Flashes the trident in your hand?
There are thousands of Mahisasuras roaming around
You can't decide
whom to kill and whom to leave.
The burning rage and anger leave you stoned.
Please come back Maa
Leaving aside your stoned Avatar
As a real living woman.
Part - 1 There are so many devil persons whom may be called Mahisasura. Simple and faithful persons are tortured by them. The thirty eight dead bodies discovered from a truck container in London might be duped by those inhuman beings. From a sensitive message you have formed a brilliant poem in the title of " Maa" where you

Maa! ! ! Mama! Mother! ! ! Woman! ! ! Womanhood; Wood of the truth, .food for thought; Qest and request. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A mother is the epitome of love. She nourishes and fosters life. She is a Goddess. Sometimes Goddesses are represented as stone idols with strident in their hands. That image does not suit to our concept of mother in flesh and blood, oozing love and love only. A great poem.
Well expressed in emotion to kill devil's, Thank you Poet.
Part - 2 have penned....There are thousands of Mahisasuras roaming around / You can't decide / whom to kill and whom to leave./ The burning rage and anger leave you stoned./ Please come back Maa / Leaving aside your stoned Avatar / As a real livingwoman. Maa, True, the ancient Mother did kill Mahisasura who was nothing but a demon. Today's demons come in the guise of angels. A Mother in stone Vs one alive in flesh and blood. Lovely poem.
Thank you so much Anniruddha Pathakji for your valuable feedback just after I posted the poem. Yes, today's demons come in the guise of angels. In the morning newspaper I read a news that 39 dead bodies were discovered from a truck container in London out of which 38people were adults and one was that of a teenager.Perhaps these people were duped with big promise by some Devils and transported from place to place. It is unbelievable that human beings can become such inhuman!
