Marley’s Eyes Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Marley’s Eyes

Rating: 5.0

I refuse to die not a man
I refuse to be only common
A sheep following

A child of God I am
A child of God we all are
Remarkable, incredible

To not only dream but live
To let go, to fulfil and not ridicule
To spark a change

I refuse to fall short of my potential
Like so many others
I also have a voice and refuse
To be silent by fears choice

Never will I be him
But I inspire to be like him
To be a great man like father intended
To see the world, to love the world
Like Rastafarian Love
I inspire to see through Marley’s Eyes

Kelwin, a nice poem of optimism and confidence oozing in every line indicates that you ARE going to be the best in your ability! Keep it up!

Great sentiments here - we should all strive to be the best we can. I don't think we should strive too hard to be like King Big Head!
