Dee Daffodil

Masquerade - Poem by Dee Daffodil

She came to the ball
Not to dance
Nor was she looking for
A frivolous romance

But she needed to find him
To unmask him
And remind him
That she was his...

Should he dare to chance...

Us guys can often hide behind a mask, not knowing that in actual fact, although more risky, to come out from behind the mask is the only way to be
    Great writing Dee

Behind protecting masks we often hide
When to remove is …so hard to decide.
As we remove ours, what will we see?
Me uncovering you ~ you discovering me.
