Mind 3 - Declutter My Mind Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Mind 3 - Declutter My Mind

Rating: 4.6

Deepavali - this festival of lights,
Dedicate, I should, to change my mind sets,
Declutter my head of the garbage bags,
Diagnose my mind of its symptoms,
Drive out all ghosts and goblins,
Dust off all prejudices that still persists,
Demolish the demon of anger and jealousies,
Destroy the giant ego that stubbornly dwells.

Deepavali is a time to develop the mind - A
Determination to search for the light of divine knowledge.

Deal only with the heart that flows like a river of love
Dwell only with compassion falling like a waterfall.

The mind is an abyss, deep as a crevice. What a fascinating poem that speaks volumes in all serenity

Deepavali is a time to develop the mind - A Determination to search for the light of divine knowledge......so true. Deepavali does impress us to demolish the demon of anger and jealousies and destroy the giant ego that stubbornly dwells. A beautiful festive poem nicely executed.10

Yes! Everyone should devote a specific time to do a self-examination of the state of their heart and soul, and mind- - to adjust as you say our mind-sets, declutter our brain cells of all the garbage and past memories that do harm instead of good. I really like this poem and its proposition. It is very well written and deserves a 10+++++++++++++ and a place on my fav list
