Mist Poem by Rini Shibu

Mist

Rating: 4.9

Like mist, you came into my life.
Surrounded me in your arms.
Your invisible touch refreshed me.
The gently scented breeze filled me with energy.
Caterpillar turned to butterfly.
Flowers were jealous seeing my colourful wings.
They uttered the wind to take away the mist and clear the way.
When I opened my eyes, all vanished.
Oh.. wind why you took the mist away?
I saw the mist far in the orchard,
Giving life to hundreds of caterpillars.
The glimpse of fluttering wings around the mist.
All alone, I felt awful, my tears dropped down.
Those flowers felt pity for me.
I returned to them.
Mist! ! I wish to be the scented breeze to dissolve and fade in you.

A wonderful 'Mishty' (sweet) poem on mist. The two lines I particularly liked: 'Flowers were jealous seeing my colourful wings' - - and, 'Mist! ! I wish to be the scented breeze to dissolve and fade in you.'

When visibility is low in the mist one gets an opportunity to concentrate the beauty that is close to one's sight. During a mental mist we become capable of watching many hidden beauties of our friends and loved ones that one could not notice in the bright sun light. A lovely and impressive poem by Rini Shibu.

It is a brilliant poem on love, friendship and nature with stunning and amusing expression. Let me quote some lines here.... Your invisible touch refreshed me. The gently scented breeze filled me with energy. Caterpillar turned to butterfly. Flowers were jealous seeing my colourful wings. They uttered the wind to take away the mist and clear the way. Enjoyed with attractive photo provided. Thank u dear Rini, keep the ball rolling.
