Monolith Poem by Brian Mayo

Monolith

Rating: 5.0

Monolith, oh Monolith
I hope you’re here to stay.
Your glorious reality
Won’t let me turn away.
Your angles feel so right to me,
Your measurements, so true.
You must be something special
‘Cause there’s nothing else like you!
How nice you’d look positioned
By the entrance to my cave.
A patio on which I’d stand
And to my neighbors wave.

One of my favorite, a brilliant metaphor of man's adoration serving the ambition!
