Morning And Evening Prayer Poem by Tan Pratonix

Morning And Evening Prayer

Rating: 4.5

Morning Prayer

Lord, I come to You this morning, asking Your blessing for the day.
Let Your Presence be with me as I walk along the way
You've chosen for me, though it be dark with clouds.
Let Your guiding eye and hand
Lead me into the Promised Land.
And though worries, like jostling crowds,
Push me off the chosen track,
I know Your strong and gentle guiding hand
Will bring me back.

.

Evening Prayer

Lord Jesus, I come to you tonight.
I know that You will hold me tight.
I know that You will carry me
Through every storm and raging sea;
And I will reach the other shore,
Satisfied and secure.
None can snatch me from Your arms,
There is no danger and no harm.
I'm surrounded by a shield of grace
Protecting me from disgrace.
And though I am downcast and blue,
I know that I can trust in You.

though worries like jostling crowds wonderful imagery. There is serenity here, and humble recognition that we cannot walk this life alone. Like the Psalmist on the hillside, alone under the stars, singing his prayers to the heavens, so here you have created lovely psalms for us all to enjoy and connect with.
