Move On - Poem by ashli crane

You have a power over me
One that I can't escape
You hold my heart inside your palm
With every touch it seems to break

The one thing that hurts me most
Is the fact that you don't care
You say you'll be there for me
But you're never really there

You tell me that you love me
And you know that it's not true
Why can't I be smarter
And just let go of me and you

You ripped my heart apart
And left me all alone
So maybe it's really time
To say goodbye and just move on
