My Biggest Chess Upset
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Richards Durham was a former Utah State Chess Champion. In all fairness to him, he had not played any rated chess for about five years, and this was his first game when coming back to chess. He did not lose another game in the tournament. He had one draw in a later round with a gentleman named Fred Docekal, and he finished with four and a half points in the six round tournament. I lost two games and finished with four points, and received the trophy for First Place in Class C. I later got my rating up into Class A, but am now near the bottom of the Class B range. With the pandemic, have played no chess lately. I really miss it.

Yes sir this pandemic is upsetting. I feel why don't you start teaching chess moves to someone near you, a family member if there. This eill keep the game spirit alive as well as train a new player too. Just a casual suggestion.
