My New Friend Poem by Cowboy Ron Williams

My New Friend

Rating: 5.0

She's twenty-two
with eyes of blue.
I can't believe
that girl can do
just anything
under the sun,
so full of life,
and so much fun!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I'm sixty years older than she is. Does she love me because I'm tall and handsome, or for my marvelous singing voice, or because I can still bowl 300? Or is she just after my money?

This poem is total fiction. An old man can dream, can't he?

Good grief! I am so shocked I fell off my horse! ! ! I think she loves you because you're full of the old Harry and a ton of fun and she has her eyes on that beautiful chestnut stud--- keep that horse safely under lock and key, my friend

Are we talkin' 'bout an 'old nag' aka, in this case, a horse? Or is 'she' a real, NOT an inflatable, female human? ? If so, She IS 'after your money', and your bowling ball FOR SURE! !

Not a horse, of course. Why would she want my bowling ball? She's not very good at bowling, but she can ride a horse!
