My Secret Poem by Bharati Nayak

My Secret

Rating: 5.0

It was start of my teenage years
It was blooming days of my girlhood
So pure and fresh were my feelings
I knew nothing other than my parents' doting
Then, one day I saw this boy
Very handsome, lean and tall
Cycling along the road in front of my house
His charisma caught my eyes.
Then, whenever he goes that way
My dreamy eyes started peeking his way
I knew nothing about him
But I saw him always in my day dreams
No name, no address, no acquaintance he was
Still he caught my imagination
I don't know how many days it continued
I thought, ‘Is it love at first sight? '
One day we moved to a farther place
After my father got a transfer
I could not see the boy anymore
Gradually his image got wiped
Now, when I think about it
I laugh at myself
And tell ‘Silly girl! How naive were you?
Did you not know, what you thought as love
Was it nothing but an infatuation? '

So true to life! Every person has had a similar experience with infatuation. Enjoyed reading.

(cont.) Though I would suggest some minor changes in grammar, which in India may not 'be needed', I shall simply say: 'I like this enough to give ***** AND to send Bharati's My Secrets to my 'favorites'.(

Bharati, PH just wiped out my extensive comment explaining why you've not found comments from me here yet. PH is trying to drive me insane & many people believe PH has already succeeded! ! ! !

For shame, Brian aka 'bri', for neglecting to return here before 'many' days after initially reading and messaging my good friend Bharati of my enjoyment of it. I believe that I THOUGHT I'd left comments! ! I'll blame my tardiness on: (cont.) ...
