My Tears And Dew Drops Poem by Bharati Nayak

My Tears And Dew Drops

Rating: 5.0

I was crying
Feeling myself lonely
In a crowd.
But my loneliness vanished
The day I saw you
Sitting as a dew drop
On the tip of a grass
I knew
My tears have turned cloud
And have mingled with you
They come back to me
When I become dry and thirsty
In every winter
They wait for me
On a grass-tip.

This is such a lovely poem, dear Bharati. I liked the sensitive and delicate nature of the poem. By mingling the human tears with that of the dew drops on the grass, you have established a deep connection with nature. An elegant poem that deserves a full score......10 To my Poem List as well.

A sweet poem on winter dew. Flowing smooth it makes an interesting reading. Loved it. 'When I become dry and thirsty In every winter They wait for me On the tip of grass.'.. this is simply awesome. Thanks.

Hey, Bharati! The image sitting as a dew drop on the tip of a grass is pure poetry for me. If it were my poem I’d make adjustments for its sound, but such differences are what distinguish us one from another. -Glen

this poem is so much subtle that it is hard to say a word, to keep this touchy image unshaken. yes, after all, this universe is nothing but what we feel. very nice poem
