My Tears Poem by Emma Adamyan

My Tears

Rating: 5.0

My tears are my old friends,
I don`t know anything as well,
The taste is so cognate
And all by this heart.
I can call them my enemies
For the weakness they reveal
Or I could call them friends
For the pain they ease,
More I can call them indifferent witness
For their silent falling on my cheeks
Finaly I can call them nothing
For they can`t change a single thing
With special name or without
Fulfilled with regrets or fears
They still are my tears
And each time I wish they were the last,
They last...
Sometimes I whisper: 'Oh, Lord if I deserve, let me cry,
Maybe Your Will is my kids eyes to shine...'

Dedicated to a friend who`s asked for my permission to kiss my tears away

'I can call them my enemies For the weakness they reveal Or I could call them friends For the pain they ease'... More tears to shed more kisses to follow, Emma! You have very nicely personified tears in your poem...and very meaningfully too! The quoted lines i liked most...10

Tears of joy, tears of pain Tears relieve of all strain Stony hearts melt as they rain They are the life's sweetest refrain. CP
