My heart flutters when I hear his voice
I can't explain the way I feel when I see his face
His smile and devish green eyes
Is all I imagine late at night
When I have nothing else to think about
He taught me about the injustices of the world
By the way of a CD or a 45
His words make me to act against tryanny
I have read Joyce because he is his favorite author
And explored Russian poetry because he likes it
I have done the teenage things one does on a crush
But I still want to meet him
I am running out of time
An awesome tribute to the troubadour/activist Sting! Although he was great with The Police, he knew that his true calling was to voice various causes with his music.
Mood and desires so realistically and yet poetically and individually expressed. I loved the open and deep originality of this poem. One could feel it and live it, too. Great piece. Thanks
A wonderful poem so beautifully expressed. A reader could very much feel your ardent desire to meet this great artist. Top Marks! ! !
A celebrity can fuel our dreams. Hurry up, LeeAnn, you still have so much time to meet him.
He is running out of time also. He's older than you are. (I enjoyed reading this.)

2) Anyone who inspires and motivates his audience to read Joyce and great Russian poetry has truly found his calling in life. Re: meeting him, 'where there's a will, there's a way'. All the best, LeeAnn!
