Just who was this guy, anyway?
Was fascinated with death.
Sometimes wrote poems about dying.
Often drew pictures of self hanging from noose.
He was photographed lying in a casket (while still alive) .
Wore a bridge because he had no front teeth.
A likely shock: He smiles at you with bridge out.
Had some roommates who were gay.
This bozo once urinated in a very public setting.
Was a screen star years ago.
Actually did say 'Live fast, die young'.
One year, filmed TV commercial on auto safety.
He said 'Drive carefully, the life you save may be mine.'
Was brought down in a car wreck a few weeks later.
James Dean made only 3 movies before he was killed: East of Eden, Rebel Without a Cause, and Giant.
Spock has not posted anything new since November 2020. I think he has abandoned Poem Hunter.
How Spock solved this I will never know. This is a very special type of acrostic poem. You can find the person's name by looking at the FIRST letter in the FIRST line, the SECOND letter in the SECOND line, THIRD letter in the THIRD line, etc.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
I think it was James Dean.
How in the world did you ever come up with that response? You are absolutely correct! I gave some little-known facts about a well-known person. Congratulations! If nobody had solved this by the end of the month, I was going to use this poem as the November Contest. Now I have to come up with something else. By, the way, nobody has yet solved the October 2016 contest. See the poem 'Mystery Creatures'. Anybody who could solve this one should also be able to solve that one.
