In my ripe age I have learned
to leave things alone. I used to
press issues and then wonder
why people did not respect me.
I wore my insecurity on my sleeve.
That was the character I placed in
front of the world to see. Now a
more mysterious straight forward,
yet kind, woman has emerged
though the darkens of narcissism

Some times the elusiveness will be mistaken for pride and vanity...but good though that it as helped u grow into a matured being wise enough to judge her ego! A 10 from me!
Mysterious, straightforward - sounds like two worlds that can't co-exist, an oxymoron. But it happens.I have a friend who seems a mystery to me yet so simple, that is the mystery, the simplicity. Your write is a tribute to your life in your own hands. great
very true...time and life teaches us to be more patient...tolerance makes a better human, very well written

sometimes conceited attitude, an idiotic one...kills the respect of others.. with your write is with full of meaning.. that to be humble and simplicity is the best..
