Natural Love Poem by Elena Sandu

Natural Love

Rating: 5.0

The Earth patiently waits
for the leaves to fall
to grateful receive some warmth.
Just as the cold heart
awaits the sun,
to be tickled with smiles.

A great image: the leaves that keep the earth warm, comparing to a smile for the heart. Inspiring and moving.

You have reminded me of why I am cold except for when I am being hugged by someone by reading this. Probably I must be waiting for being touched. Nature tells me my nature! Good work, Elena!
