Never Or Ever? Poem by Elena Sandu

Never Or Ever?

Rating: 4.8

Never or ever?

Would you, world
let me lock
each door
of my heart?
All keys
Should I store
time and time
again, on the road
near by?
Could or might
some eyes
each day
find the one
that is right?
For the core
of my soul
for the core
of my heart
for me,
for you
for all
of us
as one?

A delightful request... if only the keys to one's heart might only be used by those with good intentions.

Your words carry a note of hopeful innocence and the phrasing is lovely. Guard the key well Elena. Once that door is unlocked it is very hard to close it.

dreams are our only entitlements, our endowments, dream we shall, with impunity till the T-REx of reality becomes extinct.... at least within the realm of our dreams

My dear friends, I seem to be confusing you, haha I like to confuse myself only, (so that I can search for new ways out) , but yes this is poetry and that's the beauty of it, the liberty to interpret it as we want to. This poem may hold the truth of my soul between the lines. It is not about me having one person, I already love the whole world, but about sharing, offering my heart, to people, everyday, as many as possible could they find at me the right help that they may need, could they find just what they want? If we all unite we may realize that all we need is very little... to help another, such is also one way of helping self...

A Beautiful poem. The keys to be stored properly and from time to time. Before it falls in wrong hand, it has to be kept safely....Lovely write. Loved reading it.
