As my soul soars up the celestial heights
Away from the mundane mutilations
From the scorching sun and thunderbolts
Shelter me under the shade of thy wings
As my soul in thirst wilt and wither
And springs of love dry up all over
Churn your love and raise nectar
To quench my thirst and to recover
Thank you very much dear poet for your warming comments
The last two lines especially beautiful, an ending yet a beginning.
This is beautiful and hopeful poetry in all circumstances. Thank-you.
A true love always shelters and fills what is void. A well crafted and conveyed write.
