O, The New Year Dawn!
The innocent infant you!
I find your golden tender arms come floating
In search of my window sill
I invite, I invite you, enter my inside!
I am keeping my heart open for you
Since yesternight!
I have ignored the darkness
That had crept in without my words
You sweep in! I wait
Erase the gloom
That lingers over,
Wash away the stains,
Make my lonely corners alive!
I had allowed darkness
To sleep in my eyes,
Keeping my mind awake
Lest it shouldn't miss you
As you arise…
The metaphorical value of this poem written from deep within you is as innocent as its expression and it takes one along the path of light and knowledge and new beginnings just as it sweeps away the darkness in the corners and in the mind. 'That crept in without 'your' words' seems more appropriate, if you too agree. To erase and wash away the negativity is most welcome. In all, a much appreciated piece of poetry and very deep in its intricacy. Indepth study of your genius awaits me! arya, with thanks for sharing.
